Soccer Game Preview: Purcell vs. Cordell

The Purcell Dragons will take on the Cordell Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Purcell fell victim to Casady and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Cyclones. Purcell have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Cordell also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Oklahoma City S on Friday, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that Cordell have lost by exactly ten goals.

Purcell's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Cordell, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Purcell took their victory against Cordell when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1. Will Purcell repeat their success, or does Cordell has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
