Meanwhile, Leesville suffered their closest loss since January 4, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Northwood by a score of 70-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (56), the Wampus Cats still had to take the loss.

Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Anacoco, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
