Soccer Game Preview: Flagler Palm Coast vs. Merritt Island

The Flagler Palm Coast Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Merritt Island Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Flagler Palm Coast is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

In Wednesday's Canine Competition, Flagler Palm Coast didn't have enough. They lost 9-1 to Timber Creek on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Wolves are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Merritt Island came up short against Cocoa Beach on Tuesday and fell 4-2.

Flagler Palm Coast's loss dropped their record down to 10-7-2. As for Merritt Island, they now have a losing record at 4-5-3.
