Basketball Recap: Moyers Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Moyers won the last time they faced Mill Creek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Moyers Tigers strolled past the Mill Creek Bullfrogs with points to spare, taking the game 45-30. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Bullfrogs are ranked 405th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Moyers is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Mill Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Moyers Tigers take on the Haworth Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Moyers is facing Haworth at the right time seeing as Haworth is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Mill Creek, they will take on Milburn at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
