Soccer Game Preview: East Rutherford vs. West Caldwell

The East Rutherford Cavaliers will head out on the road to challenge the West Caldwell Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

East Rutherford came up short against Hibriten on Monday, falling 4-1.

Meanwhile, West Caldwell had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Trojans. That's two games straight that West Caldwell have won by just one goal.

East Rutherford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for West Caldwell, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

East Rutherford couldn't quite get it done against West Caldwell in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 2-0. Can the Cavaliers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
