Basketball Recap: Perquimans Falls to Currituck County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Perquimans had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Currituck County Knights and fell 64-6. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Currituck County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Arianna White out in front who shot 50% from the field on her way to 12 points along with eight steals and six boards. White has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 16 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhianna White, who posted 12 points and eight steals.

Coming up, Perquimans will head out to challenge Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Currituck County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Camden County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
