Volleyball Recap: Draughn Beats West Caldwell for Their Third Straight Win

Draughn had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the West Caldwell Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Draughn won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-17.

Their offense was headlined by Bailey Mozeley and Bella Whitson, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Ashlyn Heavner and her 14 assists. Macy Auton controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Draughn's victory bumped their record up to 14-5. As for West Caldwell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Draughn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Chase on the 7th. As for West Caldwell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against R-S Central on the 7th.
