Cypress Bay has gone a perfect 6-0 against West Broward recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. This will be Cypress Bay's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Cypress Bay is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Columbus, who was ranked second at the time (Cypress Bay was ranked seventh). Cypress Bay took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Columbus on Saturday. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Broward not only won last Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 30, 2024. They blew past Cooper City 3-0. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

West Broward never let Cooper City on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 28-26.

Cypress Bay better focus on containing Gabriel Hector and Kevin Soler as the pair were huge in West Broward's win. Hector had nine kills and two blocks, while Soler had 12 assists. Hector has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last six times he's played. Israel Hector also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

West Broward's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2. As for Cypress Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.

Everything went Cypress Bay's way against West Broward in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Cypress Bay made off with a 3-0 win. Will Cypress Bay repeat their success, or does West Broward has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
