Tate waltzed into their game on Wednesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Booker T. Washington Hornets. That's two games straight that the Aggies have won by exactly ten runs.

Kaleb Posta was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Clayton, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Griffin Cook also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Tate pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.9 runs on average over those games. As for Booker T. Washington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Coming up, Tate will venture away from home to face off against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Booker T. Washington, they will host Tahlequah at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
