Volleyball Recap: Platte Valley Falls Despite Big Games from Clara Ochsner and Addy Grossnickle

Addy Grossnickle and Clara Ochsner certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Grossnickle had 20 digs and two assists, while Ochsner had eight digs and two aces. Grossnickle has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Platte Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Grandview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Platte Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Palmer Ridge on the 1st. As for Grandview, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Longmont on the 1st.
