Grand Saline is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Friday, they were much more limited against Athens on Tuesday. They lost 8-0 to the Hornets. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly eight goals.

Grand Saline's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cumberland Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Cumberland Academy's way against Grand Saline when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Cumberland Academy made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cumberland Academy since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
