Baseball Recap: Ridge Comes Up Short

Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Hunterdon Lions. The Red Devil were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for North Hunterdon, they pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Ridge has already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Bridgewater-Raritan on the 28th. As for North Hunterdon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Randolph on the 27th.
