Millard West had already won 20 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.7 points) and they went ahead and made it 21 on Thursday. They really took it to the Lincoln Southeast Knights for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-27 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 games by 20 points or more this season.

Millard West was led to victory by Norah Gessert and Kylee Paben. Gessert went 6-for-11 on her way to 17 points along with eight assists and seven boards, while Paben went 9-for-13 en route to 21 points and six rebounds. What's more, Paben also posted a 69% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Neleigh Gessert, who posted nine points.

Millard West smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

Millard West pushed their record up to 23-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.9 points. As for Lincoln Southeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.
