Volleyball Recap: Perry County Central Takes a Loss

Perry County Central was the 3-0 winner over Breathitt County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Commodores fell 3-1 to the Bobcats on Wednesday. Commodores fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bobcats since Wednesday.

Perry County Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Breathitt County, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Perry County Central has already played their next matchup (against Leslie County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Breathitt County, they will square off against Knott County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
