Softball Recap: Greencastle Tiger Cubs vs. Monrovia Bulldogs
Greencastle extended their losing streak to four on Monday, dropping them down to 11-4. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monrovia Bulldogs. The Tiger Cubs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in June of 2025.

Ali Hassler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on 11 hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

The Sparkplugs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.59 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
