Annapolis proved they can win big on Friday (they won by nine) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northeast Eagles, sneaking past 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since March 30th.

Will Meyer was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Meyer was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

In other batting news, Will Goulet was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

Annapolis' record is now 6-8. As for Northeast, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.
