Volleyball Recap: Paxton Damme and Devin Aldrich Secure Win for Perry-Lecompton

There's no place like home for Perry-Lecompton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Louisburg Wildcats 2-1. The Kaws haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (72-69) Perry-Lecompton actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-19, 30-28.

Perry-Lecompton was led to victory by Devin Aldrich and Paxton Damme. Aldrich had five digs and five aces, while Damme had 15 kills, nine blocks, and eight digs. Those nine blocks gave Damme a new career-high.

Perry-Lecompton's win bumped their record up to 22-14. As for Louisburg, their loss dropped their record down to 20-12.

Perry-Lecompton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Louisburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Wamego on the 16th.
