Imperial had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Calexico Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The match marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Mirella Barron and Addison Clark did most of the damage at the plate: Barron went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double, while Clark scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Caroline Magdaleno also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Imperial pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Calexico, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Imperial didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Mission Hills on the 26th. As for Calexico, they have also already played their next contest, a 7-3 loss against the Tigers on the 28th.
