Soccer Recap: Basalt Takes a Loss

Basalt lost against Roaring Fork back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns came up short against the Rams, falling 4-1. That's two games in a row now that Basalt have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Nyla Visnic, who's now up to two this season.

Basalt dropped their record down to 1-4-1 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Roaring Fork, they now have a winning record of 2-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Basalt will challenge rival Aspen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Roaring Fork is set to square off against their familiar foe Steamboat Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be Roaring Fork's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
