Volleyball Game Preview: Westwood Warriors vs. Mountain View Toros

Westwood hasn't had much luck against Mountain View recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Toros at 5:30 p.m. Westwood is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Thursday, Westwood made easy work of Mesa and carried off a 3-0 victory.

One reason for the win was Westwood's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-15.

Westwood can attribute much of their success to Ricardo Alvarado, who had ten digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Mountain View posted their closest win since March 18th on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Corona del Sol 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Toros.

Westwood pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 17-15-2.
