Wakefield is a perfect 10-0 against Rolesville since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Wolverines will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:30 p.m. Wakefield is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.

Wakefield took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They never let Knightdale get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. It was an even better day for Mallory Stroud as she scored three goals for her team.

Despite a strong season so far, Rolesville has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against Heritage on Wednesday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Rolesville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Heritage are ranked tenth).

Kelsey Blanchette, who's played more minutes than anyone else on the Rolesville squad sat out for Wednesday's contest. With Blanchette sidelined, Rolesville had to make some changes to the lineup. And.

Wakefield's victory bumped their record up to 7-8-3. As for Rolesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-8-1.
