Softball Recap: West York Area Takes a Loss

In Thursday's Canine Competition, West York Area had to take the L. They came up short against the Shippensburg Greyhounds on Thursday, falling 13-2. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

West York Area saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayleigh Becker, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

West York Area's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Shippensburg, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Coming up, West York Area will head out to challenge Spring Grove at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rockets have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Shippensburg, they will welcome James Buchanan at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
