            Basketball Recap: Huron River Rats vs. Skyline Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Huron was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight  defeat. They were beaten by the Skyline Eagles 65-28. While losing is never fun, the River Rats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings  (they are ranked 488th, while the Eagles are ranked 225th).
Huron's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Skyline, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huron will welcome Monroe  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Huron is facing Monroe at the right time seeing as Monroe is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for Skyline, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pioneer  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Pioneer will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Skyline surely won't give up without a fight.
