Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Choctaw Central

Choctaw Central entered their tilt with Northeast Lauderdale on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Trojans a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won ten games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Choctaw Central's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.
