Orland won the last time they faced Oroville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Orland Trojans walked away with a 64-56 victory over the Oroville Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Orland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Derick Rubio, who went 9 for 15 on his way to 22 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Rubio now owns an excellent 45.8% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Dominick Bose, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Oroville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Marlon Smith, who went 6 of 12 en route to 14 points and five steals. Kevin Taylor was another key player, putting up 18 points and five assists.

Orland's record is now 18-7. As for Oroville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Coming up, Orland will look to defend their home court on Friday against Corning at 7:30 p.m. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Jeff Mendros and Preston Carlson. As for Oroville, they will host Las Plumas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Las Plumas is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.2 points per game this season.
