Football Recap: Sage Hill Takes a Loss

Sage Hill fell victim to Laguna Beach and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Breakers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lightning came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Breakers are ranked 247th).

Sage Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Laguna Beach, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

While Sage Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
