Soccer Recap: San Luis Takes a Loss

San Luis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Cibola Raiders. The matchup was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly the Sidewinders struggled afterwards.

San Luis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Cibola, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

San Luis will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gila Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025. As for Cibola, they are taking a road trip to take on Yuma Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Cibola is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.7 goals per game this season.
