Basketball Recap: Athens Bible Piles Up the Points Against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Elkmont, Athens Bible was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 66-34 win over the Lindsay Lane Christian Academy Lions. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Lions on January 3rd, they had to take a 46-43 loss.

Athens Bible's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Murrell, who went 7 for 12 en route to 17 points and five boards. Murrell is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Noah Hester was another key player, going 8 of 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Athens Bible now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Lindsay Lane Christian Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.
