Basketball Recap: Kinley Boyd and Ashton Uballe Secure Win for Blanco

Blanco strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took down the Junction Eagles 52-37. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2016.

Blanco was led to victory by Ashton Uballe and Kinley Boyd. Uballe dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 boards, while Boyd almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. Uballe is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Payton Craft, who posted six points and 13 boards.

Blanco smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 17 offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Blanco's record is now 3-0. As for Junction, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Blanco will head out on the road to challenge Harper at 1:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Junction, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Comfort at 6:30 p.m. on December 2.
