Volleyball Recap: Franklin Central Extends Winning Streak to Three

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Franklin Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Perry Meridian Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Flashes sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kinley Huotari was the offensive standout of the match as she had 21 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last ten matchups. Cicily Borders was another key player, getting 20 digs and one assist.

Franklin Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Perry Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 14-17.

Franklin Central has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Center Grove on the 18th. Perry Meridian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
