Grand Blanc put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Powers Catholic Chargers with a sharp 10-0 win. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Savannah Schultz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one triple.

In other batting news, Alaina Trotter was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted over her last ten contests. Another player making a difference was Kate Mitchell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Grand Blanc's record is now 22-3. As for Powers Catholic, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-14.

Grand Blanc will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Chargers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
