Recap: Mission Valley Vikings vs. Lyndon Tigers
The Mission Valley Vikings were the 54-45 winner over the Lyndon Tigers when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. Mission Valley took a 33-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lyndon on Tuesday.
Mission Valley's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lillie Foster, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Packard, who scored 4 points.
Mission Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lyndon, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Mission Valley will head out on the road to face off against Cair Paravel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyndon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Burlingame at 6:00 p.m.
