Palmer is 9-1 against Coronado since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Palmer Terrors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Coronado Cougars at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Palmer's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.

Palmer is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mesa Ridge just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to the Grizzlies. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (58), the Terrors still had to take the loss.

The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in J'Twane Mike and Bryce Riehl. Riehl had a great game and posted 21 points. Meanwhile, Mike was balling out in the loss, going 12 of 20 en route to 26 points and three steals.

Coronado got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They took down Widefield 44-29 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Coronado's win bumped their record up to 2-17. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Palmer took their victory against Coronado in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 56-30. Does Palmer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coronado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
