Baseball Recap: Westran Comes Up Short

The Westran Hornets came up short against the North Shelby Raiders on Monday, falling 23-5.

Westran's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for North Shelby, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Westran is taking a road trip to face off against Fayette at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Shelby, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Scotland County at 5:00 p.m.
