Will Edwards gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Monday. He struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Edwards' strong effort led Greenfield over Gleason and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets are 9-1 against the Bulldogs going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
