Baseball Recap: Paradise Honors Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

Paradise Honors entered their tilt with Peoria on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by an 18-0 margin over Peoria. The result was nothing new for Paradise Honors, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Boeden Forquer and Kade Ashton did most of the damage at the plate: Forquer scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Ashton went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most runs Forquer has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Rodriguez, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Paradise Honors was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Paradise Honors' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Peoria, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, Paradise Honors will face off against Thunderbird at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Titans have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Peoria, they will challenge Agua Fria at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
