Football Game Preview: Bryan Golden Bears vs. Wauseon Indians

Bryan is 2-8 against Wauseon since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Golden Bears will face off against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Wauseon took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bryan, who comes in off a win.

Bryan was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Swanton on Friday. The Golden Bears claimed a resounding 48-7 win over the Bulldogs. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Wauseon's offense. They took a blow against Archbold on Friday, falling 35-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Blue Streaks: they've now lost nine in a row.

The victory snapped Bryan's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Wauseon, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Bryan might still be hurting after the 35-14 defeat they got from Wauseon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Golden Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
