Volleyball Recap: Fremont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cupertino Pioneers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Firebirds of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Fremont may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 15 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-15, 25-15.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Cupertino, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Fremont has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Santa Clara on the 6th. As for Cupertino, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hollister on the 4th.
