North Schuylkill has gone a perfect 10-0 against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Spartans will head out to square off against the Red Raiders at 4:30 p.m. North Schuylkill is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.

North Schuylkill is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Pennsylvania's top teams: Pine Grove, who was ranked 21st at the time (North Schuylkill was ranked 20th). The Spartans came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cardinals on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-0. The two-run effort marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Brigid Flynn's shutout, as she gave up just two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, North Schuylkill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mallorie Croker, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional came up short against Panther Valley on Thursday, falling 19-4. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gabby Dusendschine was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-2. Maggie Gownley also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

North Schuylkill's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Our Lady of Lourdes Regional, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12.

Everything went North Schuylkill's way against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as North Schuylkill made off with an 18-2 win.
