Volleyball Recap: Augusta E Extends Winning Streak to Three

Augusta E posted their closest win since August 21st on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Greenville H Hurricanes. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three contests in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Augusta E got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 19-25, 25-13, 17-25, 15-10.

Caroline Greenway paced Augusta E's offense, picking up 15 kills. Greenway got some help from Bailey Sheron and her 32 assists. Finally, Scarlett Linton kept Augusta E's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Augusta E's victory bumped their record up to 15-10-3. As for Greenville H, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Augusta E does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenville H, they will venture away from home to square off against Legacy Early College at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
