Volleyball Game Preview: Beachside Barracudas vs. Leon Lions + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Beachside Barracudas and the Leon Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Beachside heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Ponte Vedra. The Barracudas' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Leon had taken Lincoln down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Lions fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-2.

Leon actually scored more points across those five sets (116-111), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-27, 26-24, 16-25, 17-15.

Leon's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Beachside, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-3.
