Softball Recap: Santiam Wolverines vs. Regis Rams        
        
		
            
 Santiam put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season  on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by  a  15-3 margin over the Regis Rams. The  victory was familiar territory for Santiam who now have five in a row.
  McKenna Dodge was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   three  hits. Dodge has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts every time she's  pitched this season. Dodge was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  McKayla Dodge and  Madie Allen did most of the damage at the plate:  Dodge  went 4-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and four  RBI, while  Allen  fired off two  home runs and six  RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kasey Solus, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Santiam is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record  this season. As for Regis, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 6-5.
 Coincidentally,  the pair will both be playing Central Linn the next time they take the field. Regis will head out to face Central Linn at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday, while Santiam will head out to face them  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
