Soccer Game Preview: MacArthur vs. Richardson

The MacArthur Cardinals will venture away from home to take on the Richardson Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for MacArthur and five for Richardson.

It was a proper cat-fight when MacArthur duked it out with Irving on Thursday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, MacArthur can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Irving are ranked 54th).

Meanwhile, Richardson lost 6-1 to Lake Highlands on Thursday.

Richardson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11-7. As for MacArthur, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14-2.
