MacDonald came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Lynbrook Vikings by a score of 7-2.
Ileyah Sanchez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Kyleena Stone was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
