Walla Walla Valley Academy and Northport squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Walla Walla Valley Academy had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Mustangs. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Northport got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Beardslee out in front who had 24 digs, 16 kills, and five blocks. With that strong performance, Beardslee is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Dalilah Colton was another key player, getting eight digs and four aces.

Walla Walla Valley Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Northport, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.
