Baseball Game Preview: Mills Vikings vs. Mission Bears

The Mills Vikings will challenge the Mission Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Mills came up short against Aragon and fell 8-4.

Mills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Givanni Angelini, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Mission got themselves on the board against The Academy - San Francisco on Thursday, but The Academy - San Francisco never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Wolves. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Wolves: they've now won three in a row.

Alani Krejci was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles and one triple. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noe Zuleta, who went 3-for-4 with one double.

Mission was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive matches.

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Mission, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
