Brooks lost to Lake View back in May of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Brooks' defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lake View, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Brooks and Evergreen Park, after both having extra time off, will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Lake View, they will head out to face off against Payton College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
