Baseball Game Preview: Clinton Comets vs. Westmoreland Bulldogs

Clinton is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Westmoreland a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Clinton Comets will be playing at home against the Westmoreland Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Clinton's offense. They lost 9-0 to Mt. Markham on Friday. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Comets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Westmoreland came up short against Oriskany on Saturday, falling 9-1.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Clinton, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went Clinton's way against Westmoreland in their previous matchup on May 2nd, as Clinton made off with an 8-2 win. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
