Basketball Recap: Balko Bison vs. Beaver Dusters
The Balko Bison stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 49-29 margin over Beaver. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Balko also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Balko got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Halle Littau out in front who scored 14 points along with three steals. Littau has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Emelie Trentham, who scored 14 points along with six steals.
Balko's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Beaver, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
Balko does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Beaver will head out on the road to challenge the Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Sharon-Mutual has now lost ten straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2.
