Carver High School of Engineering & Science took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thomas A. Edison on Friday. While Carver High School of Engineering & Science didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Thomas A. Edison 25-20 in the first set.

Carver High School of Engineering & Science started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Rodrigo Alvarez had a dynamite game For Thomas A. Edison., getting eight digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave Alvarez a new career-high in assists (42). Jeremy Dejesus-Perez was another key player, getting 14 digs and two aces.
